Logo Clear Zones

The following is the clear zone rule for the VentureWeb signature. In order to gain maximum visbility, the VentureWeb Signature should always appear with a minimum area of clear space around the logo as indicated.

This area should be free of any type of graphic element. Using the full height of the symbol in the signature as "x", the clear space is a 1x area around the entire signature. This rule applies to all versions of the VentureWeb signature on all mediums.

Logo Misuses

Because the VentureWeb signature is the brand's primary visual representation, its integrity should be respected at all times, in all places.

Please do not stretch, condense, augment or distort its form. Changing any graphic element of the Signature will weaken its impact and detract from the consistent image we seek to project.

The illustrations to the right describe some, but not all, of the more common misunderstandings and inappropriate uses of the Signature.

Please use only approved electronic art when reproducing the VentureWeb Signature and never attempt recereating it.

SCALE

Do not play with the scale of the signature. The proportions of the logos should not be altered in any way.

Do not change the colors of any of the two signatures options or the symbol. The symbol should always be in Seaside or in Off-white (when used reversed out).

ORIENTATION

Do not change the orientation of the signature by rotating it any way.

Do not add any kind of effects like a drop shadow or transparency to the signature.

CONTRAST

The signature should always be placed in a location that is not too complex to allow it to be viewed clearly.

Do not change proportions or the format of the signature, or attempt recreating any parts thereof.

BACKGROUND COLOUR

The signature should only be used on a white or pewter background, or on a background image with clear legibility and sufficient contrast.

Do not crop the signature |in any way or use the symbol on its own.

Do not lay any kind of transparency over the signature.

Colors

Colour is a primary means of visual identification that we use to create a powerful emotional response. The colours were chosen with care to convey that VentureWeb is a vibrant, forwardlooking brand. The consistent use of a limited number of colours will build strong external recognition and memorability for VentureWeb.

PRIMARY PALETTE

The primary colour, Seaside, is intended to be the main signifying color for the brand. The symbol in the Signature should always appear in Seaside. The other primary colours are Crimson and Pewter. Always consider using a limited colour palette along with these three primary colours, after which a limited (one to two colours) from the secondary colour palette could be used.

Imagery is a crucial element of the VentureWeb brand expression used in conjunction with colour, expressing a confident response.

Although the VentureWeb brand allows for a variety of diverse imagery, one should still aim for a distinctive look and feel, reflecting the dynamic and energetic market approach.

CONSIDERATIONS

Use high quality, bright, energetic, bold and invigorating imagery with a warm and natural undertones.

The categories to the right are good examples of themes to consider when selecting imagery for application within the VentureWeb brand.

Ensure the application of charts, graphs and infographics are bold and professional, yet simplistic. These should be used to enhance the key message in a clear and consice manner.
